I'm Lucky that I got hands on a pair of Bannow Island and Ballykilcavan bottles. I am tasting them both as I write this comment. Even though the whisky is only three years old, you could convince me that this was fifteen years in standard industry casks. Your barley, super long fermentation, careful distillation and cask policy are genuinely impressive, and the quality shows in the glass more evidently than I could ever imagine. Bravo. Once you build a dunnage warehouse and bottle a single cask from that warehouse, you have achieved peak whisky and nothing more could be done to improve quality beyond that point.

What types of malted barley do Waterford distillery use from the factory. I know there seems to be a lot of different types produced from the factory like Minch, pale ale, caramel and obviously they have a whiskey malt as far as I know ?????
Maybe a stupid question but do Waterford distillery use there whiskey malt
